Choosing the best tech for your business is a tricky business. There’s so much choice and so many perceived benefits that making decisions is hard work.
Being a young company, we’ve been in the fortunate position of not having to use any legacy systems or have to consider replacing them.
On the flip side, we’ve had to decide the best tools for our job from scratch, and with so much choice out there, it can be a minefield!
Some of these are specific to our industry, but here’s a run-down of what we like best:
I’m a long-term Mac lover, but until we started neuco, I’ve never used one for my daily work. It was pretty much the first tech decision we made, and we’ll never look back. Sure they’re expensive, but they’ve been amazing. Very few glitches, rocket-ship fast and just a pleasure to use.
Jabra Evolve 75 Noise-cancelling headsets
Our office is a noisy place, so being able to focus on your conversations with clients and candidates has been key. We’ve trialled several headsets, but settled on the Jabra 75 Evolve. It has amazing noise cancelling on both the earpiece (think over-ear Bose style cancelation!) and the microphone. One of the biggest VoIP providers in the US, but perhaps a bit less well known in the UK. Their service is amazing and their call quality and costs are virtually unrivalled. Microsoft Office 365
Universally loved and their SaaS model works brilliantly. Combine this with setting up Sharepoint sites for shared drives/folders, making shared work so easy to manage.
Widely regarded as the best recruitment CRM in the business and it’s does the job with aplomb. Super-fast to register candidate details and the workflows and search functions make it easy to keep track of everything and ensure our clients and candidates are kept up to date all throughout the process.
