About the Role:

A leading innovator in connectivity solutions for the transportation sector is seeking a Sales Director for the DACH Region to drive growth and profitability across a defined portfolio of accounts.

This strategic role involves working with both existing clients and new prospects to identify opportunities, build strong partnerships, and secure large-scale IT service contracts. You will take ownership of the full sales process from lead generation to contract closure, while collaborating with technical and legal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and business success.

Key responsibilities include:

  •  Identifying and developing new commercial opportunities
  •  Acting as the “voice of the customer” internally, providing valuable feedback
  •  Preparing and presenting proposals aligned with internal sales processes
  •  Negotiating commercial contracts and ensuring compliance with obligations

  • A Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience
  • Proven success in closing complex IT service contracts worth €1M+
  • Strong customer relationship management in tech or infrastructure services
  • Ability to exceed sales goals in a fast-paced international setting
  • Confidence in engaging with both technical experts and C-level executives
  • Fluency in German and English (other European languages a plus)
  • A valuable network within European railway operators
