The challenge: Our client offers a sophisticated security solution for analysing network traffic, which requires someone with a high degree of technical know-how – plus the right commercial acumen. The team had recently lost a key member to a competitor, so time was of the essence.

Our solution: At the time Germany was experiencing increased demand for cyber professionals, though there was a degree of caution about moving to a new role due to a perceived uncertainty around Covid. By networking and proactive outreach to carefully selected individuals – we championed the strength of our client’s value proposition in solving real-world CISO headaches, and the exciting prospects of joining them during a period of aggressive expansion.

The outcome: We were able to provide a comprehensive shortlist of 8 candidates, which gave the client the ‘nice’ problem of having to carefully select the right person. Their 1st choice was delighted in accepting the role.
